Startup Idea: Data Labeling Tool for Machine Learning in Automotive Drive Applications

Startup idea to develop a user-friendly software tool that can simplify and optimize the process of labeling large datasets (video and sensor logs) required for AI research and development in the domain of automated driving technologies.

I work as a researcher doing machine learning and computer vision for an automotive supplier. I work on automated drive applications and we collect a lot of data (video and sensor logs for hours at a time).

I take those datasets and label data (draw bounding boxes around what I am interested in training my machine learning algorithm to recognize. I don't have a really good tool that makes that process easier.

I have my own solution that I created, but nothing that is really well thought out and easy to use. I have looked around at open source projects but they are even worse than what I developed.

I really like the idea in this paper that drive.ai uses, but I haven't had the time or resources to implement:
