Startup Idea: Child Development Milestone Tracker Application

Startup idea to develop a comprehensive app for new parents that tracks and guides them through their child's developmental milestones. The application should provide a timeline of key growth stages, alert parents on what to expect such as starting solid food, teething indicators etc, and provide tips to manage these transitions. The goal is to consolidate information typically found on multiple websites into one accessible platform.

Please don't discount a homemaker as not having a "job". But what would be extremely helpful to me as a new parent would be something that tracked developmental milestones for my son as he grows. For instance at 6 months something that tells me what milestones he should have hit, that he should be starting solid foods, that he may be about to cut his first tooth, etc. Symptoms to give me a heads up of being ready for each thing. Tips to help me make our lives smoother. Just one integrated program to give me all of the information in one space without having to do hundreds of searches over each tiny topic and getting 25 different answers or blogged opinions.

At the moment i have to search tons of different sites and ask friends and family or wait until a pediatrician appt and just deal with everyone's different opinions.
