Startup Idea: Automated MARC Record Finder and Creator for Children's Librarian

Startup idea to develop software that can locate or create MARC records for book cataloging, aimed at easing the burden for children's librarians who often have time constraints and budget limitations.

I am a children's librarian. It would be extremely helpful to have software that would either locate a MARC record for a book, or would create one for me!

Cataloging materials is something I wish I had more time to do, but there are so many other pressing needs with my job, I just don't have the time.

Having cataloging software would be a blessing! I can sometimes get MARC records to upload from a vendor, but they are often costly. I can sometimes get MARC records from vendors. For ones that I don't, I just catalog the materials myself, from scratch.
