Startup Idea: Volunteer Management and Skill Sorting Software

Summary for idea #3587
Startup idea to develop a budget-friendly tool for non-profit organizations to easily tag volunteers, categorize their skills, abilities and experiences, and assist in swift sorting of volunteers. It would be supplemental to survey websites and enable nonprofits to focus more on the human analysis variables.

I am a social media coordinator for a nonprofit faith-based organization that helps link volunteers with sites that need assistance and fit their abilities/skills.

Unfortunately, we do not have an easy means of "tagging" volunteer profiles with relevant skills/abilities/experiences to make sorting them easier as we compare potential volunteer sites for our participants

The ideal tool would allow us to use a survey software/website (maybe like SurveyMonkey) to easily sort our volunteers among different general skill areas, from which we could easily select them based on our knowledge of their personality and other aspects that require human analysis

I think we could pay for this software, but it would need to be cheap for any nonprofit like us to be able to use it. Yes.

The software would sort volunteer responses quickly and easily so that we don't have to do it manually, giving us more time to focus on personality and other relevant factors.
