Startup Idea: Digital Solution for Bacterial Colony Counting

Startup idea to develop a software capable of distinguishing and counting the bacterial colonies from high resolution microscopic images. It aims to eliminate discrepancies due to human error in such complex manual counting tasks.

Colony counting of bacteria is hard due to the clusters but some colonies cluster so maybe taking a photograph using a powerful microscope that the software can differentiate between colonies instead of having to hand count ach and work it out by eye as it leads to discrepancies from person to person.
