Startup Idea: BusPlus: A Location-Based Entertainment App For Bus Rides

Startup idea to create a location-based app, named BusPlus, designed to entertain users during bus rides. The app provides on-the-go tips and reviews of nearby restaurants, sports scores from nearby stadiums and suggests events on the user's regular routes. The revenue mechanism involves a partnership with venues for a cut on purchases made by app users, along with running ads.

I would like something to entertain on bus rides. I think a bus app which is location based could be amazing and profitable as well. It could be called BusPlus.

The app would give you restaurant tips and reviews as you pass by the restaurants. It could also give you sports scores when you pass by stadiums.

You guys, the devs, could receive money by some of the venues if the person using BusPlus goes into the venue and purchases something. This could be very lucrative in the sense that you could be making a percent of fees from many different venues. Also, you could track their normal bus routes and suggest events that will be on their route in the next week or so.

Running ads on the app could also make it profitable. I believe this would be a great app and frankly I wish there was something like this I could use on the bus.
