Startup Idea: Personalized Digital Scheduler and Priority Manager App

Summary for idea #3649
Startup idea to create an app that can serve as a personal assistant for time management and task prioritization. The app should allow users to set and weight their priorities, and produce to-do lists and schedules based on these. It could use reminders for repeat tasks or events and have the ability to re-prioritize and schedule events or tasks when left unfinished.

So, I am a teacher, a friend, a daughter, a sister. I volunteer at church, and at the local library. I use paper schedulers as well as google calendar, however, what I would like is an app for my phone/laptop that would allow me to create a daily schedule based on certain priorities on set up, set by category and weight.

For example, if at the beginning of the month I entered into the app and plugged in birthdays -- I might have the reminder option to send card, buy present, or write on their facebook wall, or call (super cool if it connected to contacts). I select the option and the app would remind me the day of to write on facebook, or plug in send a card four days before the day of the birthday into my schedule for that day. If I marked the category of birthdays as low priority, it might be near the bottom of my to-do list for the day. (If left unchecked at the end of the day, it would roll over to the next days list, maybe at a higher priority level given that it is time sensitive).

I could then plug in more medium priorities like the two times a month I teach Sunday school-- the app could put it on my to do list on Friday to review the lesson and on Saturday a reminder to buy supplies. Or a repeating reminder on Saturday to pick out a book for the library reading circle.

A more pressing issue might be for me to be able to tell the app find time in the next two week's schedule for a three hour block to unit plan for next month, and mark it as high priority.

I would also be able to plug in staff meetings or other non-movable things into the schedule. (Classes, drs. appointments, etc.) and be able to move the daily list of to-dos made by the app around in the schedule to fit the blank time I have during the day (or maybe just an auto-fill where the app just guesses and fills the spaces for me?)

Not only do I want this app to be able to show/make a schedule, I want it to be able to prioritize and make a to-do list of flexible events throughout the day-- things not set to a specific time, but things that ought to be done that day, writing birthday cards, going shopping, doing laundry, etc. I have trouble prioritizing long term and often wait until I am surrounded by time sensitive things which are now all high priority because I didn't find time for them earlier.

So, basically, I want a PA. Currently I use paper planners and google calendar, but I haven't found an app I like.
