Startup Idea: Real-time Bus Tracking and Notification App

Startup idea to develop an app that provides real-time tracking for buses, sends alerts if the bus is running late and notifies users about changes in fare, schedule or payment methods. The app also includes weather alerts.

I really hate taking the bus. I would love to have an app that shows me exactly where the bus is at the moment (as an icon or blip on a map). It should also include alerts if the bus is running late - in exact minutes. I'm pretty sure the bus companies track their buses via satellite, so you would access this data. Also, include weather alerts - such as - Heads up! It will start raining in 5 minutes! Also, notifications from the bus company if they are planning to alter payment method or changes in fares or schedules.
