Startup Idea: Cross-Border Fast Money Transfer Software

Startup idea to develop a software solution that improves the speed of cross-border payments, enabling money to be transferred within 5 minutes. Potentially transformative for the finance industry, with a specific use case in the areas of forex and global commerce, where current solutions take 3-4 days.

I work in the finance industry in New York with a pretty large company over the past two years. Times have changed and industries have changed. My particular industry uses technology on a daily basis and for the most part, our jobs are so helpful because of the technology. However, there is one major problem that I do not understand.

How can cross border payments and movement of money take as long as it does?

Speaking to people across the world (London, Paris, Berlin, etc.). I cannot fathom that in 2018, we are still waiting for 3-4 days for money to get to these countries.

I think there needs to be a system that allows for money to be transferred within 5 minutes! So if there is a software out there that could allow for that, then that is something that we need to implement.
