Startup Idea: Shift Management Mobile App for Businesses

Startup idea to develop a mobile app aimed at businesses, allowing employees to post and manage shifts, receive notifications when shifts are covered and foster communication through a group chat feature. It should also include a functionality for managers to upload updated work schedules.

I think a good software application for places of business could be an easy app that can be utilized by any business/corporation to let employees easily post shifts and receive notifications for when their shifts are covered.

I feel like it would be extremely useful if this software was created intended for phone/mobile use so that it can be easily available to everyone and an be easily used on the go.

Managers would have to make sure to post the updated schedule excel spreadsheets to the app so someone would need to stay on top of that; but if someone chooses to drop a shift a notification could be sent to all employees via a workplace group chat also created in the app.
