Startup Idea: Wine Recognition and Rating App

Startup idea to develop a mobile application that allows users to scan wine labels for details and features such as name and brand. The app would also allow users to rate and share their favourite wines, and keep track of their ratings and preferences. A web interface could be created for organizing wine selections into categories or groups.

I drink a lot of wine and can never remember the names of them (drinking can do that :) ). Would be nice to be able to scan bottles (lables) to store the picture/brand/kind, share favourites and rate wines to how much I enjoy them as I cannot always remember which ones. Would be useful as a mobile application as I could then easily use the camera. Web interface would be useful as well to set up groupings.
