Startup Idea: Retail Return and Defective Product Tracking Software

Startup idea to develop a software solution for retail companies, specifically for customer service departments dealing with returns and defective products. The proposed software would calculate rates of return and defect, track the costs of issued labels, and identify cost-cutting opportunities and high defect-rate merchandise.

I work in retail, specifically customer service. I do returns and issue shipping labels to our customers.

We have no software in order to calculate our rate of return or defective product, nor any kind of software to help keep track of all the cost of labels issued to customers.

I believe that if we had software that would help our department keep track of the prices and rates of returns, we would be able to find opportunities to cut cost and address the merchandise with high defect rates.

This kind of software would be most helpful for any retail, e-commerce store. At the moment, after searching on Google, there seems to be no kind of retail software to help customer service e department with numbers.
