Startup Idea: Automated Rota Scheduler for Businesses

Startup idea to create an automated rota scheduling software which tailors work schedules based on a business's unique staffing needs, constraints and variations in work hours. The software should be able to handle exceptions like 'one specific staff can never work on specific days'.

I work for a medium sized business where the staff have rotas. So hours vary week to week. I find it difficult to complete the Rota every week, so I think a computer program that could do this would be great.

What would be even better, would be if you could enter individual information. For example Sarah can never work Wednesday's. So the program knows this and does not put her in on Wednesdays. This would save businesses a lot of time!. Rotas are currently done by one person.
