Startup Idea: Startup Idea for a Bartering and Service Exchange Platform

Startup idea to develop a software program that creates a bartering platform connecting users in need of services with people willing to exchange services or goods. The platform would also feature sections for users overlooked on other platforms and for emergencies, urging people with specific skills and resources to bid on the tasks.

I am a 27-year old student. I come from a well-off background, but have gotten mixed by strangers asking for help. I think a software program that connects real users to people that can help can help solve this problem.

Being a freelance worker, I find it difficult to find jobs. If I could ask for a service for a service or good I have, a service like this may help. Gofundme , alibaba, and freestyle are great, but often get overlooked. If there as a barter platform this would be great. If it Sue has a farm and has chickens, she can post her eggs for trade for work on her house. This would be helpful to people running low on funds to assist with price bartering. Many people are unwilling to part with cash, but may be responsive to better prices if there was a trade platform.

On websites like these, unpromoted users often go overlooked. I propose a system that displays not the ones with the most interest, but users that haven't had views or bids on their service.

There could also be an emergency section for those in dire need of help. I feel as though a lot of people may have problems asking for personal help. Gofundme, fiverr and freecycle are all incomplete ideas of this platform. I mean a platform where you can request items or work needed and people can bid their goods / services.
