I work in IT (software) field. I have noticed that between different tiers of employees there are instances where communication doesn't happen the way it should which leads to slowing down business, especially if you don't directly talk to the person. It would be nice if there was a middle-man software or something to remind the other person to look at this task or reach out to Mr./Ms. Smith.
