Startup Idea: Centralized Scheduling Software for Bank Branches
Currently, I work in a branch of a bank. We are the only location within a 2.5 hours radius. We have 3 other locations of the bank 2.5-3 hours away.
We still need to communicate with our supervisors and other employees at the headquarters daily.
My idea is having a centralized scheduling software that will link all of the branches. Through this software program, we would submit requests for vacation days, half days for appointments, or sick time off.
Employees could check their schedules here as well, and supervisors could approve or deny requests, instead of doing it by more old fashioned ways.
The program could also send out a weekly or daily schedule to all employees as well. This would reduce labor time and effort for employees. I have not, because that is not in my scope of work, but I have used a similar program at a previous job.
