Startup Idea: Sample Priority Management System for Labs

Startup idea to develop a software solution for laboratories that schedules samples based on their priority. The system should allow each sample to be flagged with a priority value upon receipt, and then display those with higher priority at the top of a list with their due dates/times for analysts to easily determine which project should be done next.

I work in a laboratory with a sample volume of over 250 samples per day that need to be analyzed. With so many samples, it's hard to keep track of which samples should be prioritized. An ideal solution would be to have each sample flagged with a priority value upon receipt and then have those with higher priority show up at the top of a list (with also the due date/time next to it) so my analysts can look at one screen, figure out which project should be done next, and continue on this way.
