Startup Idea: Software for Efficient Manufacturing Audits Management

Startup idea to develop a software that optimizes the process of tracking, analyzing and reporting 5S manufacturing cell audit scores. The aim is to replace time-consuming Excel sheets with an intuitive system that manages data smoothly, creates graphs automatically and aids in making quarterly reports.

I am a Lean Practitioner at a Manufacturing company. We have a 5S program that involves auditing manufacturing cells for their 5S scores, once a month per cell. These scores then have to be tallied at the end of the month and shown in the cell's huddle board to see where they are, how they are trending over the past few weeks and also areas where they need the most work.

We do this currently through Excel sheets, hundreds of them.. What makes is specially hard and time consuming is that the upper brass wants a quarterly report summarizing the scores and performance for each cell group under each senior manager. They also asks for graphs reflecting the above data.

If there was only a software that can track all of the above and lets us organize data by just clicking buttons instead of typing formulas and editing graph values all day. Tedious Excel sheets.
