Startup Idea: Truck Service Tracking System

Startup idea to develop a customized tracking system for a truck and trailer servicing company. The system needs to track units that are present, picked up, in the process of being fixed, and those that are done, and handle statuses like waiting on parts or technicians.

The company I work in services trucks and trailers, the 18 wheel variety. We are unable to come up with a system that tracks what unitsare here, which have been picked up, which are in progress of being fixed, and which are done. Some of our statuses are waiting on parts, or waiting on a technician. I'd love to have someone develop a tracking program specifically for this industry. I tried an excel spreadsheet but there aren't enough customization options for my industry.
