Startup Idea: Customer Identification and Database Building Software

Startup idea to develop a software capable of identifying potential customers for specific services or products, particularly targeting small businesses in need of software upgrades. The solution should scrape the web, analyze website data for certain signatures, categorize businesses, estimate their size, and collate the information into a database for marketing purposes.

I'd like software that allows me to find potential customers. I want to be able to identify small businesses that may have a use for a certain type of software. Perhaps some kind of software that scrapes websites and analyzes them for a signature that signals that they are in the market for some kind of software upgrade. Even if it just categorizes them as a certain type of business and business size.

I'd like to get a database with all the attributes of the company so I can cold call or contact them at my pleasure.
