I am a senior accountant for a large telecommunications company. We rely heavily on mircrosoft excel for a lot of the things we do. There are some things that are not easy to do in excel. We have spreadsheets that track invoices each month and amortize or accrue them if needed. Budget and forecast is also layered in to get a full picture for each month. Something useful would be an app that we can enter details of each vendor's invoice and accounting information that can automatically calculate out current month expense, forecast, amortization, and accruals would be very useful for a number of things. We waste a lot of time building out spreadsheets that are clunky and break.
