Startup Idea: Coupon Aggregator and Savings Calculator App

Startup idea to create an app designed to search and compile available coupons, calculate the total savings a customer gets from their shopping trip and display this value to encourage purchases.

Something i deal with constantly in my store is customers who ask for coupons. I work in womens retail with a large chain that is in trouble financially, mainly because our products are overpriced. Making sure everyone has access to coupons i think would solve a lot of our problems. I know there are apps such as retail me not and others, but I wonder if there is an app that could not only find coupons but also calculate the individual savings in total for that customers shopping trip.. for example, the customer could scan all the items she has and get a total savings while browsing. I think it would encourage buyers to see a total dollar amount that will be deducted, such as your savings will be $150 at checkout. i haven't but i have tried to help customers find coupons and calculate totals for them.
