Startup Idea: Integrated Document Management Application for Healthcare

Startup idea to develop an integrated document management application for the healthcare sector. The software aims to simplify the document retrieval process, allow easy migration from other applications, enable rule-based workflows for document handling, and facilitate quick document lookup using various identifiers.

I work in the healthcare field in information systems as an application systems analyst. I previously worked in HR for four years.

The biggest pain point currently is the mass amount of documents stored across individual applications and being difficult to know where to start the retrieval process if need be.

An application to solve this would involve easy integration with other software for quick and simple migration. An option to introduce workflows utilizing rules for different documents based on the type and the ability to send to different departments based on the document and area it represents.

In addition, it would have the ability to easily retrieve documentation in ONE system using name, employee number, social, etc. I would absolutely encourage my corporation to invest in a product of this nature.
