Startup Idea: Automated Document Roll-Forward Software for Audit

Startup idea to develop a software that automatically rolls forward documents for auditors, saving time on copying and pasting previous year's data, and manually changing the years and other info.

I am in the audit field. Currently we have software that allows employees to upload information relevant to the the audited company but we still must manually roll forward all documents from the previous year to make them useful for the current year. We do so by copying he previous year's excel files with the data on it and manually changing the years and other info. We need something that will automatically roll forward all documents so less time is spent copying and pasting. no.
