Startup Idea: House Building Cost Estimator Software

Startup idea to develop software that estimates house-building costs. Based on user inputs like size, height, and room number, the software can generate an approximate cost budget. It will also allow users to draft simple blueprints and choose building methods or house types. The software will also factor in pricing from hardware stores.

A software that help you estimating material-wise, how much would it cost to build a house. Based on some fundamental user input (height, size, amount of rooms), perhaps, as long the user prepare a user-friendly blue print WITH the software. Selecting specific options on what type of house or methods to build the house. Etc.

Also taking into account pricing from Hardware stores. With the final idea of giving a close to detailed information how much would it cost. I have not tried finding a solution. I am personally a programmer, and I am working on my own solution for that. But I think it could be a good Idea for what you guys are looking for.
