I work in retails at an arts and crafts stores and the register computers are always shutting down with the title "check login" placed despite there not being errors concerning that. This has happened all the time especially during times of holidays or seasonal events. It could be a overload on the computer, but this happens to particular computers in the cashier sections such as the 4th and 5th register. We had new one installed a few months ago and it seems like the errors are getting worst. I am unsure of the brand system of the computer, but it is a touch screen register with a separated card read and cash bank. This process seems to occur more with return of certain products than actual purchases. This leaves customers feeling very antsy and unsure of the purchasing and returning which could possibly lead to bad news. We call tech service all the time to check on the computers but to no avail since the problems continue to arise.
