Startup Idea: Smart Gun Safety Tech

Startup idea to develop a retrofit technology for firearms that can only be activated by the person wearing a corresponding key or bracelet, thus preventing accidental or unauthorized use.

I believe the best thing that could be developed is a retro fit tech that can help law enforcement. A sidearm that can only be fired be the person wearing a key ring or bracelet that will not allow the gun to fire when the wrong person is holding it. This could be a major innovation that could be made into consumer firearms and prevent the deaths of accidental firings by toddlers and others.
