Startup Idea: Project Management Simplification Tool

Startup idea to develop a software tool that simplifies the process of turning complex project plans into simplified and visually pleasing power point presentations. The tool should be able to work seamlessly with existing project management software like MS Project and should save significant time for project/program managers in the manufacturing sector.

I work in the manufacturing sector as a project/program manager. One of my biggest hassles is creating schedules (Gantt charts or network diagrams). I typically use MS Project to create them.

Often I need to take the big schedule and turn it into a pretty power point chart for management that is simplified (ie. a hundreds of line schedule over several years needs to be consolidated to a schedule on a single page).

This is a major hassle and usually takes me a few hours to create a nice looking slide. There are 1-2 programs that work with MS project that do some simplifying but to be honest there is nothing that great and I do everything by hand. If there was a tool that could do the simplifying and create great looking ppt slides this it would be awesome and save me a lot of time.

I have tried a couple of tools but they are clunky and didn't work well and I didn't end up using them.
