Startup Idea: Digital Receipt Management System for Service Industry

Startup idea to develop a tablet or computer system that allows customers in the service industry to view their bills digitally, reducing the use of paper and promoting environmental sustainability.

I work in the service industry. I feel we waste so much when it comes to paper, straws, etc. One problem I find is that we use a lot of paper that just gets thrown away without much use. We print a lot of receipts and if we had a small tablet or computer system at the customers use, they could see their bill without having to see it on a piece of paper. I think this would save not only the company money, but would help the environment as well. I think my company would pay for this problem to be solved, any way to save money in the long run would be worth investing in. I have not, I am not sure the higher ups at my company have either. We do not solve the problem now, that is why it is a problem.
