Startup Idea: Automated Network Selection Software

Startup idea to develop a software that automatically switches between different internet connections - mobile datas and wi-fi, based on their reliability and speed. This solution aims to help professionals, especially remote workers in developing countries, who need a consistent internet connection but struggle due to unreliable networks.

I live in the Philippines and teach English online. One major problem that I frequently encounter is that the internet connections are unreliable, however I think there is a solution, given the right software.

I use a combination of 2 different mobile data networks (Smart and Globe) plus the wifi in my apartment. So, 3 different networks in total. Almost always, if the connection I'm using goes down or becomes too slow, one of the other connections will work. However I don't have any way to know which one to try next, and it takes time to manually reconnect to the others. Meanwhile my student is waiting for me to solve the problem. If there was some software that would automatically switch to the best connection, that would improve my workflow dramatically. Obviously there would be some settings that would prevent the connection from constantly switching all the time. But I think this would be an improvement over what I have now. No, I believe this is a pretty unique problem, but over time there are more and more remote workers who need a solid connection, and don't have one because they're in developing countries.

I solve this problem now by switching manually to the connection that is "usually" the next best option.
