Startup Idea: Automated Data Entry for Tax Preparers

Startup idea to develop an automated system which allows tax preparation clients to directly input their data into the system, eliminating the need for manual data entry by tax preparers. This would increase efficiency and save time for both the clients and tax preparers.

As a tax preparer, it would make the office run far more efficiently if information fields auto populated.

Currently, we have the client fill in a "datasheet" with their information which the prepare then needs to manually enter into the system. While I'm a techie, I'm no developer, but it sounds to me that it would be simple to bypass this and just have the client enter their data directly into the system.

This would prevent it from being necessary for both the client and the preparer to both enter information, saving plenty of time for both company and client during a tax return.
