Startup Idea: App for Accurate Measurement of Building Roofs Using Online Maps

Startup idea to develop a software that allows users, especially those in the roofing industry, to measure building roofs accurately using data from Google Earth or other online maps. The software could enhance estimation capabilities and planning, minimizing the need for physical roof inspection, thus reducing safety risks.

I need to be able to measure building roofs more accurately from google earth or other online maps. I am in the roofing industry. There are companies that offer this service but they are overly expensive and I am unaware of any software that can complete this function.

If the software allowed me to complete this function I could have a better estimation abilities when providing services for customers. Right now it's hard to pre plan without actually getting on a roof. That has safety concerns in and of itself that I could reduce. I have looked for software to complete this task but I really couldn't find anything to specifically accomplish this task.
