Startup Idea: Auditory Calculator App Idea

Startup idea to develop an 'auditory calculator' app that allows users to verbally input math problems and instantly provides the solution. May include additional features such as percentage calculation and formula building for consecutive calculations.

I am absolutely, positively HORRIBLE at math! I'd love to purchase an "auditory calculator". Discussing bills? Speak the math problem into the phone, and have it reply with the answer.

Need further numbers from there? Allow it to continue building from the first result, ie: (Okay, now multiply that by 12). Say "20% of * X bill amount* for easy calculation.

I can't tell you how awkward it is for me and multitudes of friends that go out to eat, and we have to sit there and think, or just remember how the hell to calculate these things, when it could be as simple as pushing a button, and allowing the app to build and calculate your desired formula.

And guys - if you DO, make this app, or want further feedback, help with voice recognition (or need voice files) please swing me a message!

(view contact info) I'm just saying, Math is sometimes necessary on the fly. I'm not great at it, but I certainly recognize how important it is to use and have! Why not "simplify" the problem, saving time and headaches? ;o)

Keep in mind, when reaching out to a submitter, they do not have the context of Nugget. You will need to explain you belong to a community of software developer where the problems are posted. And, that you are interested in learning more about their problem if they had time for a chat about it.
