Startup Idea: Route Optimization and Real-time Updates App for Long Distance Drivers

Startup idea to develop an application that allows drivers to input their planned route and schedule. The app will provide real time updates on weather, traffic, and roadwork - optimizing the route and time of departure to account for these potential disruptions.

I regularly drive as a part of my job. The driving is often cross country, or at least for spans lasting longer than 5 hours. I think it would be great to have some sort of app that allows me to enter in the cities and times I need to be in said cities over the next week, and then the app regularly updates according to changes in weather, traffic etc. If i'm driving 9 hours across the country, it is helpful to know that there will be a storm in the 4th hour and a bridge construction in the 6th hour.
