Startup Idea: AI Based Bar Traffic Prediction Software

Startup idea to develop an AI system that predicts bar or restaurant traffic and potential revenue based on past data. This assists in optimal staffing and cost efficiency, addressing a common challenge in the service industry.

I work as both a programmer during the day and on the weekends in a busy bar. There is currently no software I know of that offers predictive information for how busy a bar will be.

This would be an artificial intelligence predictive system that takes into account past customer and revenue numbers and offers predictions for any given night on number of customers and amount of revenue done.

This would allow for much finer tuning of staff to keep on hand in order to minimize wasted salary which seems to be a large problem across the entire service industry.

Having staff on hand that is unnecessary hurts both the business as they must pay a small hourly rate for unused employees, and the employees as they are wasting their time for little to no tip money.
