Startup Idea: Actor-Agent Matching and Open Day Notification Software

Startup idea to develop a platform where actors can create profiles and specify the type of representation they are seeking like theatrical, print, voice, or commercial. The software would then match these actors with agencies looking for new talent and notify them of agency open days. Agencies can also join and launch notifications for their open days.

I am an actress and often times it's hard to find representation.

On occasion, agents have open days during which they see all sorts of talent, sadly, you don't always know when those open days occur.

It could be a very smart idea to have a software that is a database to match actors with open days by letting actors do a profile and mark what sort of representation they're looking for (theatrical, print, voice, commercial, etc.) and based on that, notify them when an agency is seeking new talent.

The agents can also join the database under "agencies" and when they have an open day they can launch a database wide notification so people will reach out to them.

I've never seen anything like it. Usually, if you're no constantly active, you'll miss out on these opportunities.
