Startup Idea: Geo-aware To-do List Mobile Application

Summary for idea #469
Startup idea to develop a mobile application that keeps track of users' to-do list and sends push alerts when they are near a location that can be related to their tasks. The app would learn the users' usual shopping places, home address, work address and others to provide more contextual reminders.

This is an mobile app I have myself considered developing a couple of times. It is essentially a geo aware to do list / scheduler.

It takes a to do list that you create manually and then sends a push alert when you are close to a location you can complete an item on the list.

For example a basic list could read: -pick up dry cleaning -grab milk and eggs -return books -pick up daughter The app would then let you know through the course of your day when you come within a user specified threshold distance of the dry cleaner, the grocery store, the library, and the school.

Obviously it would also learn based off your routine what grocery stores you typically go to, where home and work are, what dry cleaner you use, etc. I feel like this would be a massive upgrade, and not particularly difficult, to the standard to do list applications available.
