I work in aviation. A paint point in my career is that we have paper logbooks that we physically write in and sign.

Then the next mechanic comes along and does his work and then fills it out and signs HIS right under mine. ANYBODY could copy your signature and government A&P number and make false logs. It's ridiculous. It worries me to no end.

Like an example : REMOVED AND INSPECTED LANDING GEAR STRUTS. REINSTALLED. NO FAULT FOUND. AP#123456789 JOE BLOGGS.

See how that can be abused? they just copy my number, signature, and writing style and they just made a false entry under MY information.
