Startup Idea: LinkedIn Inspired Platform for Temporary Workers

Startup idea to create a mobile networking platform, akin to LinkedIn, specifically tailored for temporary workers like construction workers. This aims to address the issue faced by staffing agencies and construction companies, who currently spend large amounts on trying to fill such positions, finding it a rather challenging task.

There is a huge opportunity to create a LinkedIn for temporary workers such as construction workers.

I spent two months deeply validating this idea and discovered that staffing agencies and construction companies spend $50-$100k/year to try to fill these types of positions by posting on Craigslist, Indeed and other sites. It is a huge pain point for them and in their words it is a "nightmare".

The perfect solution would be a mobile linked in for these kinds of workers. I have created a full mockup of a solution that should give you a pretty good idea of wha I am talking about.

I discovered this opportunity during my initial show and tell research. After two months of validation and speaking to customers I finally realized that this project was not a good product founder fit for me.

Basically, it is hard to build social networks. Ultimately I realized I don't have as much passion about building a social network for construction workers as I do for the work I am already doing at nugget helping founders to start profitable side projects.

That said, I fully believe this is a unicorn level opportunity.
