Startup Idea: Customized Beekeeping Management App

Startup idea to develop a comprehensive beekeeping management software. The tool should be able to run on touchscreen devices and be glove-friendly. It should enable tracking of various hive attributes like hive identifier, type, location, weather, date, humidity, number of frames for honey, brood, empty frames, brood age, queen age, presence of pests, and more. Moreover, the software should have queen rearing and mating trackers, documenting lineage and offspring success over generations.

I am a beekeeper. There are some apps/software designed to track bees, but nothing that I really like.

Ideally I would like software that can run on a touchscreen tablet or phone with a number ranking system from a drop down list selected with a pen as I have thick gloves on while inspecting the hives.

There are a number of things I would like to track in a hive.

Hive Identifier#, hive type, Location, weather, date, humidity. # of frames Honey # of frames of brood # empty frames Frame Identifier# Brood age frame contents Queen age Presence of Mites, hive beetles, wax moths, other pests Also a Queen rearing tracker using a growth chart to track when an egg is laid by a queen, when it is transfered into a queenless hive, and when it will hatch.

Also a queen mating tracker to monitor which queens have successfully mated, and to track the lineage of these queens and the success of their offspring over multiple generations.

There are a few hive tracker tools that do some of these things, but not all of them together. I currently record the data on paper and enter it into an excel sheet.
