Startup Idea: 3D Ultrasonic Testing Software

Startup idea to develop a 3D ultrasonic testing software. The software would aid nondestructive inspectors to confirm the sound path through the part under inspection. The program would enhance current 2D software with 3D abilities, incorporating variables like material velocity and usage angle.

I am a nondestructive inspector. My main method of inspection is ultrasonics and radiography. For ultrasonic Testing it is necessary to confirm the sound path through the part being inspected. This would work similar to a CAD drawing software.

There are variables that must be know such as velocity of the material being inspected and the angle being used. Most software on the market is only capable of 2D views. The abilities to apply this to a 3D view would be an improvement. I have searched for new software with 3D abilities but I have been unable to find it.
