Startup Idea: CRM for Tracking Business Relations with Nonprofits

Summary for idea #584
Startup idea to develop a specialized CRM targeted at for-profit businesses dealing with nonprofits. The application should enable users to import and manage large contact lists, track nonprofit behavior through sales cycles, and record interactions. The tool would address inefficiencies identified within platforms like Salesforce for this specific use-case.

I am a founder of a for profit social enterprise whose primary customers are nonprofits.

It is extremely difficult to sell to nonprofits because there are so many, and there is vast amount of information, but their behavior is atypical of for profits and they take a long time to respond.

I would want a CRM that for profit businesses can use to track relationships with nonprofits.

There are many ways to get contact info from nonprofits, (Guidestar, scrapping, etc) but no way to import a large contact of nonprofits, follow the through a sales cycle and track interactions with them.

Salesforce isn't a great option because we have to manually input info about the nonprofits and it doesn't already recognize the names of nonprofits like it does many for profits.
