Startup Idea: Database Software for Fast Marine Species Data Entry

Startup idea to design a database software that expedites data entry process in environmental marine consultancy. The software should contain a comprehensive library of marine species and pre-fill specific parameters related to each species once typing starts.

I work in an Environmental marine consultancy and we need a software that speeds up the data entry process,

We are currently using Excel but we need some kind of database with all the marine species and when I start to type the name I should see a list of all species that start with the letters I'm typing and fill others parameters specifics of that specie.
