Startup Idea: Automated Pricing Calculator for Food Trading Industry

Startup idea to develop an automated software that streamlines the pricing process in the food trading industry. It should efficiently collect data from suppliers and vendors, compute costs, and provide optimal pricing for sales and purchasing teams. The aim is to maximize profit, minimize cost, and enhance customer negotiations.

I am in the Food industry. As a traders exporters we have a bottleneck when it comes to do pricing for our customers, that means gathering data from suppliers and vendors and adding up to all cost to get the target price in which we can maximize our profit.

This conditions varies depending on the customer's inquiry, customer's quality specifications, customer's price indication and customer's final bid.

Actually we are doing this operation very old fashion and manually, since we have to compile all the data and make calculations to forecast pricing in order to give our sales team (Sales price with highest profit) as well as our purchasing team (purchasing price minimizing cost) the information the require to start negotiation with the parties involved in the process of trading.

We would love to make this process automated by a software that help us reach and exceed our sales goals, profit goals as well as allow us to get more customers inquiries in a very efficient way.
