Startup Idea: Software Development for Tidal Data Conversion and Visualization

Startup idea to develop a software that can seamlessly extract tidal data from text files and convert it into line/bar graphs directly on a spreadsheet based on preset parameters, filling a current gap for Hydrographic surveyors.

I am a Hydrographic surveyor. During surveying operations I am frequently required to produce graphs displaying tidal data that is downloaded from tide gauges.

Right now, the data comes from text files (notepad style) that has to be exported onto Excel spreadsheets and then turned into graphs.

I would love to see a piece of software that could more simply extract the data from text files and place the data directly onto a simple spreadsheet by preset parameters and convert the data into line/bar graphs straight away. There is no current software for converting data like this. Search terms have included the words "tidal data software downloads".
