Startup Idea: Mobile App for ID Card Replacement in Call Center Security

Summary for idea #641
Startup idea to develop an application that replaces traditional ID cards with a mobile app. Employees would use the app to submit their entry request to a central system when they approach a designated door, which the system would then approve or deny based on their credentials.
Original submission by someone willing to pay to get a problem solved (not AI)

I have been working in a call center environment for about 6 years, and we have been facing the same issue for quite a while. Our main problem is our employees consistently lose their ID cards used to enter the building. We have constructed a large team of developers to attempt to make a mobile app that allows our employees to access the ID cards and enter the building via mobile app.

Here is an example: Let’s say our employee “John” is working today and he arrives at work and walks up to the main entrance door. He would open up his mobile app, enter the door number he is trying to access and he would click “submit”. Then the app automatically sends his information and his employee ID to the main office where they have a program to view who is trying to access the building. They can then accept or deny entry via their host-type software.

This would be such a great way to avoid lost/stolen ID cards, which is our biggest issue in our company and we have put together a team to assist in the development of this software. We have gathered together a team of developers who are assist in the structure and development of this program. We are still currently working on it, but there are some difficulties we are trying to resolve.
