Startup Idea: Route Optimization Software for Multiple Deliveries

Startup idea to develop a software solution for a small pizza restaurant owner managing multiple takeaways and deliveries. The software will auto-generate efficient delivery routes for multiple orders, factoring in real-time traffic and closures, and hence improve revenue by optimizing delivery speed and reducing cold food incidents.

I own a small pizza restaurant that does takeaways. I've owned it for about 3 years now, and our takeaways as opposed to people sitting in has steadily grown over the years. At the moment, 80% of our revenue comes from take aways and deliveries.

I currently have 4 delivery drivers, and the thing that still offers me the biggest struggle is finding a way to schedule multiple orders in one delivery so that one driver knows the route that will save the most time.

I have tried to find a route making software that will tell the driver the exact route to take to make all 3 deliveries and come back to the store in a timely and efficient manner.

Due to inefficiency, I often lose money from food going cold, or losing repeat business due to long delivery time. Starting a few months back, I had one of my employees manually enter destinations on Google maps, and then give the route to the driver, but there has to be a way to do this automatically, and then also auto update based on traffic, closures etc...

I will definitely pay for software to fix this, this will improve my revenue atleast by 50% if I had a truly effienct delievery route system for multiple orders. Multiple stop delivery. By hiring staff during busy hours to manually search routes on google maps.
