Startup Idea: Poetry Copyright Detection Software

Startup idea to develop a software that enables writers to cross-check the content of their poems or song lyrics against a vast database of published works. This would help writers ensure originality and avoid copyright violations.

As a writer, I have experienced issues with poems and copyright.

Titling poems and reviewing the content of my poems is somewhat difficult, mostly because a simple google search does not pick up all of the poems that are out there in the world.

It would be of benefit to have a software that could allow writers to search the content of their poems and/or song lyrics and see if there are similar creations out there.

This way, we as writers can one, be sure that we are not copying someone else's work, and two, find new ways to edit to make our creations unique. I have not! But I am going to research it more now.
