I work in human resources for general clerical work. The biggest issue is sorting through the number of applicants for a job with applicable work experience. For example, generally we will post a position, and sometimes around 60-80% of the applicants do not meet the job requirements or inadequately meet the job requirements.

In the past we have tried to use a brief questionnaire, but this does not effectively screen good candidates, and a more efficient and accurate system in order to address this would help cut back massively on the manual process.

Possibly industry trends and certain patterns could be used to better interpret this screening process, but in HR this is the biggest challenge and eats a very large amount of time. General questionnaires, but these do not seem to be 100% effective. Questions include some general information about the position at hand.
