Startup idea to design a modern, efficient, and user-friendly visitor and conference management system to replace the outdated Maestro. The new software should eliminate freezing, make searching for guests and conference groups seamless, decrease downtime and improve user interface to enhance customer experience and also be easily navigable with a mouse.

At my current place of employment there is a system in place to keep check of all the guests and conferences that are taking place for the week at the front desk.

It is an outdated program called Maestro and I have had many complaints from my co-workers and myself, the main complaint being that when you go to search a last name or conference group that the program will freeze up while typing in the name, and sometimes it will work and sometimes it will not.

On the rare occasion you may have to reboot the entire system and wait for it to fully reboot before you can assist a customer.

This can lead to some bad experiences for them and may cause them to not come back.

Overall the program is outdated and could use some Quality of Life improvements throughout, for example having to use the F keys to navigate is a bit outdated for me personally, being able to just use the mouse to navigate should be the norm now.
